Joanne M. Lee

When you’ve been injured, you deserve more than just a lawyer—you deserve someone who listens, understands, and fights for you. That’s exactly what clients find with Joanne M. Lee, owner of JML Injury Law in Frisco. Born in Galveston and raised in Dallas, she’s proud to serve her Texas community with a rare combination of compassion and relentless advocacy.

Unlike larger firms where clients get lost in the shuffle, Ms. Lee takes a boutique approach. She speaks directly with her clients, takes the time to learn their stories, and builds trust through genuine, down-to-earth communication. It’s this personalized care—combined with her sharp legal strategy—that has led her to recover millions of dollars for injured Texans throughout her career.

Ms. Lee’s path to the courtroom started on stage. Before becoming a lawyer, she was a classical pianist who performed and taught professionally. Those years taught her discipline, resilience, and how to thrive under pressure—qualities she now uses every day to protect her clients’ rights and push for the best possible outcomes, whether in negotiations or in front of a jury. She graduated Cum Laude from Seattle University School of Law, where she earned multiple top-student awards, and also holds music degrees from the Cleveland Institute of Music and Northwestern University.

Today, Ms. Lee is known for blending warmth with strength: approachable when clients need comfort, fearless when standing up to insurance companies. If you or a loved one has been injured, she is ready to be the advocate in your corner—one who knows your name, understands your struggles, and won’t stop fighting until you get the justice you deserve.

When she’s not working for her clients, Ms. Lee enjoys attending classical music concerts, skiing, camping, and spending time outdoors with her family and friends.
